Ingredients:
+ 1/4 of a cup of coconut oil
+ 1/4 of a cup of shea butter
+ 1/4 of a cup of cocoa butter
+ 1/4 of a cup olive oil, grape seed oil or hemp seed oil
+ 10 drops of vitamin E oil
+ 10 drops of essential oil (This is optional as it smells great alone!)

Directions:
1. Measure out the oils and butters and place in a double boiler. (If you don't have a double boiler you can fill a pot with water half way and place a glass bowl over the pot and it will work in the same way.)
2. Let everything melt together stirring occasionally.
3. When completely melted remove from heat and add vitamin E and essential oils (if using.) Stir well.
4. Refrigerate for roughly and hour or until the mixture has turned white and firm.
5. Remove from refrigerator and with a hand mixer whip until creamy. (If it is not light and creamy refrigerator longer.)
6. Jar and label!

Jars
My favorite type of jar for scrubs and body butters are these 16 oz flip top glass jars They are perfect for not getting water in your scrub while in the shower and oh so pretty on your bathroom counter top!

Milk Bath Soak

homemade spa gifts

Ingredients:
+ 2 cups of powdered whole milk
+ 1/2 cup of baking soda
+ 1/2 cup of corn starch
+ 10 drops of essential oil of your choice (I prefer relaxing lavender or rose)

Directions:
1. Place all dry ingredients together in a large jar and shake.
2. Add essential oil, shake again.
3. Let sit 24 before giving gift or using for yourself!
4. To use mix 1 cup of milk bath in warm bath.

Since this recipe you use a cup of milk bath you definitely want to make a decent sized jar so your gift receiver gets a few uses out of. I like these 67 oz mason jars.

I love making my tags with kraft paper tags and twine. You can either purchase kraft paper card stock, print a label from your computer then hand cut them or use a punch. Or you can purchase already cut tags like these pretty scalloped tags or classic rectangle tags Tie your tags on with some twine and they are pretty and ready to be loved and scrubbed!

Enjoy!
